Registration for Forsyth Humane Society’s Pickleball Tournament is in full swing. Get out your paddles and play for a good cause to help shelter dogs and cats find their fur-ever home. The series of events will take place at Sedge Garden Park (401 Robbins Rd.).

Friday, June 21:

  • “Pickleball Curious” workshop

Learn about different equipment needed for the sport like shoes, paddles, and balls. You’ll also get a chance to get quirky ‘pickle pal’ photos. Registration costs $25.

  • Community cookout

Enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks + chat with other players. Tickets are $15.

Friday, June 22

  • Men’s and women’s doubles tournaments start at 8:30 a.m. Registration costs $50 per player, but participants must register and pay as a team. Two days of play are $180.

Sunday, June 23

  • Winners of the mixed doubles tournament will be selected after the games.

The deadline to register is Tuesday, June 18. All proceeds will go toward vaccinations + spay/neuter services.
