Big Band Brunch | Sunday, Feb. 11 | 11 a.m.-2 p.m. | Reserve a table for up to eight guests and enjoy a full brunch buffet at the Millennium Center while Camel City Jazz Orchestra performs. Tickets are $60 per person and must be purchased by Thursday, Feb. 8 at 12 p.m.

Couples Karaoke | Wednesday, Feb. 14 | 9:30 p.m. to close | Serenade your sweetheart or perform a love ballad as a duet at The Wrong Number. Entry is free — cocktails will be available for purchase.

Wake Forest University’s annual TEDxWakeForestU event returns to campus on Thursday, Feb. 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Five speakers from diverse backgrounds will take the stage for “Staying ConnecTED.” They will share stories + ideas that fueled positive change in their field.
  • Florence “Flo” Ngala is an editorial photographer known for her portraits of celebrities and hip-hop artists.
  • Steven David’s career in the justice system includes serving as a justice on Indiana’s Supreme Court.
  • Chef Shenarri Freeman is a James Beard Award nominee and graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education’s plant-based Health-Supportive Culinary Arts program.
  • Griffin Spolansky is the co-founder and CEO of Mezcla — a plant-based snack brand sold nationwide.
  • Suresh Vishnubhatla’s work has focused on building scalable platforms and developing customer-focused service organizations.
