Ardmore Coffee wins WStoday’s coffee shop bracket
You decide which shops make it to the championship. | Graphic by 6AM City
Welcome back to our WStoday coffee shop bracket, where we’re asking you to determine the best coffee shop in the Twin City.
After our initial round of votes, there are four “teams” left:
Louie and Honey’s Kitchen and The Remedy | The local mother-daughter duo behind Louie and Honey’s Kitchen use heirloom recipes for sweets that accompany their coffee. The Remedy sits in the old Summit Street Pharmacy and carries on its community spirit of gathering with friends for a drink.
Ardmore Coffee and Camino Bakery | Ardmore Coffee has been on Hawthorne Road since the 1990s — it changed ownership last year when two college students bought the shop. A Winston-Salem native opened Camino Bakery in 2018 after being inspired by the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage route in Spain where strangers meet and share stories and food.
Ready to decide who moves on to the final two in our bracket?
The ultimate car vacuum kit, which plugs right into your car’s 12v aux outlet. The mini vacuum + parts come in a compact case, so you can easily and neatly store them in your trunk.
