What’s cooking in Winston-Salem right now? If you’re looking to stay ahead of the curve, you’ll want to know about the latest flavors and concepts taking over the city’s restaurant scene. We asked local foodie influencers what’s popping, and here’s what they said:

@_jessicaleeford | The Winston-Salem Dash did a showcase [...] and they had some interesting menu items like fried uncrustable sandwiches + fried mac and cheese balls. That’s definitely the most unique food I’ve seen. Check out Jessica’s review on Instagram.

@theofficialpree | I would suggest Grandma’s Coffee. They have a matcha latte and a Dubai coffee drink that you can get with either coffee or matcha. Check out Pree’s review here.

@eatdish3 | There are so many food trends happening right now, but one that has really caught my attention is Dubai chocolate — everyone is going out of their way to find it.

The Wrap

I’m no foodie, but if there’s one food item that I haven’t found anywhere else, it’d be the Earl Gray Wamochi from Momo Ashi Cafe in Whitaker Square. There are multiple flavors including strawberry, matcha red bean, and brown sugar. Give it a try and let me know what you think. It was so good I forgot to snap a pic.
