Walk through Historic Bethabara Park on this trail that’s paved, gravel, and single-track dirt in different portions. The trail connects to various spots like Crown Oaks Apartments and the Reynolda Commons Shopping Center.
This trail overlooks the Winston-Salem skyline from the high points along the trail. Keep an eye out for the many varieties of birds flitting around — you can spot cows and goats, too. Move over to one of the connecting loops to extend your hike.

Polyvlies plans to build a new facility in Union Cross Business Park as the company expands its presence in the Twin City. The textile enterprise creates nonwoven fabrics with a variety of innovative product lines. The project is expected to create 28 new jobs + $31 million in capital investment.

Murphy’s Lunch closed its doors permanently. The restaurant owners sold the business to Mike’s Vegan Grill, which will move to the space at 207 W. Third St. in downtown Winston-Salem. Most of the menu will stay the same, but all options will be vegan. (Winston-Salem Journal)
