We’ve got a purr-fect plan

A black cat looks straight into the camera. Its yellowish green eyes are open wide, and its ears are sticking up. The cat is in a white room, with a slightly open window behind it, and a bouquet of flowers.

We’re trying to achieve a cuteness overload, Winston-Salem. Our extremely dog- and cat-friendly city is full of four-legged companions, and we want to see why yours is the best of them all.

Here’s what we’re thinking: We want to see some pictures of your dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, snakes, or whatever other creatures share your home. Then, we’ll share them in a future newsletter so all of us can enjoy them.

How to submit:

1. Head on over to this link.
2. Once you’re there, share one or two photos of your pet. (Horizontally formatted photos are preferred, but vertical ones are okay, too.)
3. Tell us your pet’s name.
4. Add a fun fact, tidbit, or story that captures your pal’s personality.

Bonus points if your photos or fun facts are Winston-Salem-themed in some way.

The Wrap

From Editor Patrick

Seeing as we’re asking for pet pics, I’ll go first. I snapped this Renaissance-looking photo of my boy Walter over the weekend. He’s an absolute sucker for some sunshine.

And here’s that submission link again.
A furry dog lies on the ground. His blond hair is scraggly, and sunlight is casting shadows on him as his body curves into a round shape.
