Hey there, Winstonians. Editor Kellina here. I discovered line dancing last year, and the first class I took was with Jackie Phillips Line Dance. What started out of curiosity quickly became one of my favorite activities. I started going every week to learn from The Chaos Crew Line Dance. The duo, Maggie Shipley and Jackie Phillips, teach classes and host line dance events every week at different venues, including Radar Brewing, East of Texas, and West Bend Bar in Lewisville.
Eager to learn? Take beginner line dance class Monday nights from 5 to 7 p.m. at Midway Music Hall or Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Mary Alice Warren Community Center in Lewisville. Cost is $7 per class.
