History is alive in Winston-Salem.MUSE Winston-Salem, a history museum that connects Winston-Salem/Forsyth County’s past, present, and future, will settle in a new space located at the former home of the US Federal Bankruptcy Court, between Salem Parkway and Sage & Salt Bistro on South Liberty Street, where the Peter Oliver Pavilion Gallery historic site is taking shape.

Wake Forest edged out Southern Methodist University 13–12 during homecoming weekend, sealing the victory with Kicker Connor Calvert’s 50-yard field goal in the final play. Missed the action? The Deacs will be back against UNC Chapel Hill on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Allegacy Stadium. Grab your ticket.

A four-year-old biotech startup is expanding its grounds in the Twin City. WH Farms Co. creates hemp-infused beauty and wellness products, with plans to purchase a 12,000 sqft manufacturing building in Winston-Salem. The project is expected to generate $2.9 million in capital investment and 41 jobs with an average wage of $79,354.
