The tell-tale signs of fall are probably all over your yard. Leaf collection begins in the city of Winston-Salem on Monday, Nov. 3, and will run through January.

When you’ll see trucks

Leaf collection is only provided to single-family homes. Crews will start in their rounds in quadrants one and two, near east of US 52 + south of US 421. After three passes in each neighborhood, the collection will rotate clockwise to the western and northern parts of the city.

What does that mean for you? Residents can find their quadrant and estimated collection date in the following ways:
The Village of Clemmons will start leaf collection on Monday, Oct. 20. Though there will be no exact pickup dates, residents can expect to see trucks run through neighborhoods throughout the season.

The Wrap

Unfortunately (fortunately), I do love wings, and one of my favorite mid-week treats is getting chicken wings from East of Texas. My absolute favorite, I mean the best Southern wings I’ve ever tasted in my entire life, is from Simply Sonya’s, located at The Market Place Mall on Peters Creek Parkway.
