Dec. 17, 1946: The City Council (then called the Aldermen) approved the Naval Reserve Center to lease the old Twin City Hospital on Brookstown Avenue The cost? $1 per year.
Dec. 17, 1956: The city purchased a property located on the east side of Reynolda Road to build a new fire station (known as Fire Station No. 8 today).
Dec. 17, 1990: Police officers were no longer tasked to inspect taxi cab drivers. That responsibility shifted to taxi companies.

Here’s one more thing I love about Noodle Ju’B: It focuses on connection. The spot only offers a dine-in option and intimate seating, which makes it easy to focus on the food without distractions. That helped me to unplug and truly enjoy time with friends. See what other dining spots are coming soon.
