What will your new year’s mantra be this year? | Photo by WStoday
We want to know how you plan to be a good Twin City citizen and neighbor in 2026, from shopping local to trying out new activities.
This time, we’re starting the year hot. EditorKellina tried some heated workouts for the first time over the weekend. Both classes are open to all levels, so if this is your first time, you can let go of the nerves. Pro tip: Bring water to stay hydrated throughout the class. Mats and towels are provided in both studios, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Hot Power Flow atAware Hot Yoga: Room temperatures are set to 105 degrees through the low-intensity movements. You can adjust each pose to your own flexibility. This class will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Get your yogi on.
Full Body Fire at ETE Pilates Studio: Get ready for those slow pulses to give you a good burn, while also incorporating high-intensity movements. The minty scent in the studio keeps the space feeling fresh — even after a sweaty workout. Plus, you’ll receive a cooling towel at the end of class. Book your first class.

City crews placed log vanes in the stream to help stop erosion. They also reshaped the banks and planted young trees to strengthen the streambank and prevent erosion over time.
Speaking of mindfulness... a cold plunge followed by an infrared sauna session from Pure Sweat Sauna Studio after your workout will give you a jolt of energy and help you relax after an intense session. It’s only a few steps from Aware Hot Yoga. Bring a friend and share the endorphin boost.
