A winter storm watch is in effect for Central NC from late Friday, Jan. 23, through the afternoon on Sunday, Jan. 25. If this changes or is upgraded, the National Weather Service will update the forecast and share alerts on its website.
NWS officials are warning of “significant impacts,” including “dangerous travel, potential power outages, and possible downed trees and branches.”
