  • Join other dancers on the floor during Latin dancing nights every second Saturday at Art for Art’s Sake from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Soncaribe Latin Dance instructor Luis De La Cruz will teach step-by-step moves tailored for beginners and seasoned dancers.

  • Apply to join Winston Under 40 and network with other young professionals across all industries in the Twin City and Forsyth County.
  • Show up to get support from HUSTLE Winston-Salem, which provides resources for women, people of color, and those in marginalized business districts through their monthly + biweekly programs.

  • You can’t miss one of the most popular sports of the decade. Whether you’ve been thinking about trying pickleball or are a seasoned pro, the Winston-Salem Pickeball Club Facebook group offers multiple opportunities to get together with other players.
  • Join Winston-Salem’s oldest running club and one of the largest clubs in the Southeast. The Twin City Track Club participates in races in the Twin City and other locations + hosts social activities throughout the year. The group is suited for runners and walkers of all abilities — annual membership start at $23.
  • Join one of the athletics programs with the City of Winston-Salem Recreation and Parks. Email Athletics Director Katie Thomas to form a group or to join one — current groups include dodgeball, volleyball, and softball. Pro tip: You can also pitch the sport you like and start a new one.

  • Whether you’re into drawing, painting, or ceramics, you can find your people while taking seasonal classes at Sawtooth School for Visual Art. The creative hub offers a wide range of art activities for all ages and skills levels.
  • Try an adult class at The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem to improve your on-stage presence through exploratory camps like improv or character performance class.
  • Mingle with other artists and community members at D.O.S.E. Artist Collective. The space on Trade Street is open to anyone, with opportunities for emerging artists to showcase their work during The Lab.
