Festivals

Carolina Classic Fair 2025 | Saturday, Oct. 3-Sunday, Oct. 12 | Times vary | Winston-Salem Fairgrounds | $0+ | It’s that time of the year again, with carnival rides, concert performances, out-of-the-box food combos, and livestock shows.

Fall Festival | Saturday, Oct. 18 | 10 a.m.-3 p.m. | Koren Farms, Mocksville | Free | Fall in love with pumpkins, Alpacas, hayrides, food trucks and crafts by local vendors. Don’t forget to browse from a selection of craft beer and ciders, apple cider slushies, and s’mores.

Shalloween Festival 2025 | Saturday, Oct. 25 | 1-2:30 p.m. | Shallowford Square | Free | Parents, bring your kiddos up to 12 years old for a bewitching array of activities + participate in a costume contest, stay for haunted fun like arts and crafts activities.

Ardmore Run Against Hunger | Saturday, Oct. 18 |8 a.m. | Redeemer Presbyterian Church | $22+ | Run for a cause and support food-insecure and at-risk families get access to meals and resources. Gather a group or run solo.

Park Yoga Series: Vinyasa | Saturday, Oct. 18 | 10 a.m. | Quarry at Grant Park | Free | Join the outdoor flow of the month while listening to the live DJ perform uplifting house music and techno beats as you soak up the sun.

Down Dogs & Dogs Yoga | Saturday, October 18 | 3-4 p.m. | Forsyth Humane Society | $25+ | Stretch, strengthen, and snuggle with adoptable dogs (and puppies if available) — bring your yoga mat.

Food Truck Fridays in Bermuda Run | Friday, Oct. 10 | 4-9 p.m. | Town of Bermuda Run | Free | Enjoy live music, food trucks, and plenty of kids’ activities in the countryside.

WSSU 2025 Homecoming Week | Sunday, Oct. 12-Saturday, Oct. 18 | Times vary | Winston-Salem State University | Free | The week will start with a lighting show, continue with live performances, a fashion show, a royal coronation ball, and conclude with the homecoming football game of the year.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Drone Light Show | Friday, Oct. 24 | 6:30 p.m. | Truist Stadium | $15 | Watch 500 drones light up the sky with a rendition of the classic story showcasing Dorothy and her four-legged companion as they embark on a whirlwind adventure.
