It’s time to register the kids for summer camp

Here are five activities in the Twin City to keep kids learning and engaged.

There are plenty of summer camps to keep kids entertained when school’s out. Here are five options:

  • WFDD Radio Camp | Monday, June 24-Friday, June 28 | $300 | Middle and high school students will learn how to conduct interviews, write scripts, and use software.
  • Salem Gymnastics and Swim Totally Kids Camp | Monday, June 10-Friday, Aug. 9 | $275-$596 | Two swim lessons and two gymnastics lessons are included for campers ages 3.5 to 11.
  • Summit Summer | Monday, June 10-Friday, Aug. 2 | $250-$520 | The school opens 130 camps to the public for children ages three through rising 10th graders.
  • Winston-Salem Recreation and Parks | Monday, June 17-Friday, Aug. 9 | $60-$70 | WePLAY Summer Camp and Teen Camp are available at recreation centers across the city.
  • The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem | Monday, July 8-Friday, Aug. 9 | $250-$575 | Kindergartners through rising 12th graders can learn the art of improv, comedy, and acting.
