And the winner is… Ardmore Coffee . It was voted best coffee shop in the Twin City by our readers and social media followers in our WStoday coffee shop bracket.

The coffee shop at 1316 S. Hawthorne Rd. is nestled in the Ardmore neighborhood. It started in the 1990s and has changed names and ownership over time. It’s been known as Ardmore Coffee since 2013.

The shop is open until 6 p.m. seven days a week.

Last September, Winston-Salem natives (and current college students) Blake Reiner and Leah Zubke became entrepreneurs when they purchased the coffee shop. Not only can you get a great cup of joe + fresh baked goods when you stop in, you can also shop merchandise + bagged coffee online .

We want to extend a major “thank you” to all of you for participating in our bracket challenge the past few weeks. We’ve had a blast seeing how the votes shook out, and we hope you did too.
