🍺 Committed to their craft (beers)

We’re raising a glass to craft creations from Winston-Salem breweries. They’re spots known for more than just beer — they’ve got activities and events that create community.

Brouwerij DuBois, 5603 Country Club Rd.

The “farmhouse-inspired” brewery opened in Nov. 2023. With a passion for saisons, the company also brews IPAs + a Belgian wit. Keep up with events in the tasting room and the full food truck schedule online.

Foothills Brewing, 638 W. 4th St. + 3800 Kimwell Dr. (Tasting Room)

The brewery has been open since 2005 and has grown to one of the largest regional craft breweries in the southeastern US. Sing your heart out at weekly karaoke or go behind the scenes during a tour of the Tasting Room the first Tuesday of every month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. During Drink Up Week, you can score Dash City Lager cases for $20 or tall boys for $2.

Radar Brewing Company, 216 E. 9th St.

The co-owners worked in other breweries before opening their own taproom in Industry Hill in 2020. Enjoy yoga in the beer garden every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. — it’s $12 and includes a drink of your choice.

Wise Man Brewing, 826 Angelo Bros. Ave.

A chemist, an accountant, and a lawyer open a bar. No, it’s not the beginning of a joke. This brewery — which opened in 2017 — offers more than 20 selections and hosts food trucks daily. Open mic night starts at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. You can grab $5 pint specials through Friday, July 26 as part of Drink Up Week.
