  • Expect to see a new traffic pattern if you’re heading to Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. The hospital will temporarily close its main entrance on Silas Creek Parkway while crews work on the new south tower through the end of the month.

  • Have a seat at the table. Applications to serve on a county volunteer board or commission are open until Monday, Sept. 9. Those serving help county commissioners make policy decisions that affect residents’ daily lives.
