Dyer commissioned the New York architectural firm of Mayers, Murray, and Phillip to design his new home on May 1, 1925. But due to a heart attack, he never got to live there. The residence was home to his wife and four children after it was completed in late 1931.

The historic home features a wood vaulted ceiling and plenty of nooks inviting natural light at different corners of the home. It also comes with a cook’s kitchen which includes an extensive butler’s pantry. Here are other unique features:

  • 5 beds + 5.5 baths
  • Three garages + a greenhouse
  • Private study room with built-in bookshelves
  • Secret outdoor garden with a mini waterfall
