Hosted by Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County, this unforgettable one-night event features star-studded performances and delicious food and drinks from local vendors.
All ticket proceeds and donations collected will go to the NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund, which directly supports artists and arts organizations in Western North Carolina impacted by Hurricane Helene.

How to join + help
Tickets start at $20, but all additional contributions are welcome to support the cause. Attendees can secure their spot online ahead of time or grab tickets at the door.
Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County became the first locally established arts council in the United States all the way back in 1949.
The group has been working to elevate the art community in WS ever since, investing $1.2 million in grants, awards, and programs in the 2023 fiscal year.

Saturday, Dec. 7 Christmas at Bethabara | 1:30-4:30 p.m. | Historic Bethabara Park | Free | Tour the decorated 1788 Gemeinhaus, listen to the sounds of a Moravian Brass Band, make Christmas crafts, dip a candle, and observe craftspeople.
Winston-Salem Ambassadors Holiday Parade | 5 p.m. | West 4th Street | Free | See bands and community groups march from Broad to Liberty Street — plus, stick around for the annual tree lighting at Corpening Plaza.
Sunday, Dec. 8 Historic West End Holiday Homes Tour | 12-5 p.m. | Joymongers Barrel Hall | $20+ | Take the trolley to tour eight homes in the historic neighborhood and enjoy the history that makes it a special place to live and work.
Civic Club Christmas Parade | 3-4 p.m. | Shallowford Square, Lewisville | Free | Bring the family to see floats, marching bands from local high schools, classic car clubs, dance groups, and a special guest from the North Pole.
A center for autism has opened a temporary location at 1405 S. Broad St. Centria Autism is currently looking for a permanent location in the Twin City. The organization is accepting new clients and focuses on specialized ABA therapy for kids aged 5 and younger. (Winston-Salem Journal)

Winston-Salem City Council welcomed three new board members. Regina Ford Hall replaces Northwest Ward Council Member Jeff MacIntosh. Vivian Joiner and Scott Andree-Bowen will represent the South and Southwest Wards, respectively — all representatives will serve four-year terms. (WFDD)

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School (WS/FCS) board officials are working on new district boundaries to increase economic diversity among students. Parents, students, and staff can register to attend the last listening session today, Dec. 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Carl Russell Recreation Center — food will be provided.

Celebrate the opening of the dessert and cocktail lounge at Sushi Rosè Saturday, Dec. 7. Attendees 21+ can sip crafted cocktails, enjoy desserts, and bop to the beat of music during the celebration that starts at 10 p.m.

Duke Energy is giving your wallet a break this winter season. The energy provider reduced its rates by 4.5% for the month of December — that’s an overall decrease of $7.34 for every 1,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) used per month. Commercial customers will see an even greater decrease of ~6.3%.
