Weather

Students in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools will get another snow day today, Jan. 13. The school district is closed because of lingering snow and ice. Any schedule modifications for tomorrow, Jan. 14 will be communicated tonight.

Health

Work is complete on the critical care tower at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. The five-story, $222 million facility on the south part of campus houses 59 critical care rooms and 36 medical-surgical rooms. (Triad Business Journal)

DHL Supply Chain has acquired Inmar Intelligence’s Supply Chain Solutions division. According to executives, the Winston-Salem company’s expertise managing retail returns will help DHL achieve 50% growth by 2030. The deal impacts 800 current Inmar employees, who will join 52,000 DHL employees in North America. (Triad Business Journal)
