Martin Luther King Jr. Day is observed on the third Monday of January — this year that will fall on Monday, Jan. 20. It is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service in honor of Dr. King, a civil rights leader.
Here are a few ways you can engage with the community to reflect on his contribution and efforts to end racial segregation:
