    A new food pantry at Reagan High School is seeking donations. The student-run pantry collects and packages meals not only for students in need, but also for their families, for roughly one week at a time. Drop off donations at the school’s front office or gym — no glass containers, please.

    Environment

    Join the City of Winston-Salem and Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful on Saturday, Feb. 22 for Community Roots Day. Residents will plant 100 trees to help beautify neighborhoods — register online by Monday, Feb. 17.

    Award

    Young Leader of the Year, Resident of the Year, Project of the Year — these are just some of the Sustainability Awards that Winston-Salem residents could win at the Piedmont Earth Day Fair on April 26. Nominations are open through Monday, Feb. 24.
