The nonprofit’s Finally Home + Up Off the Floor programs use donated items to support neighbors experiencing a housing crisis. Check out the list of acceptable houseware/furniture items and drop off Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. or Saturday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Take part in helping women achieve economic independence by donating gently-used work clothes like blazers, blouses, skirts, slacks, and work appropriate shoes on Thursdays from 12 to 3 p.m.

Front Street Capital received preliminary approval for economic development assistance on its next building from the Winston-Salem City Council. Council approved a loan through the Spec Building Revolving Loan Program for the construction of a 300,000-sqft industrial spec building at the Union Cross Center. (Triad Business Journal)

Try This: touring a wastewater plant. As part of Forsyth Creek Week, locals are invited to tour the Muddy Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant on Wednesday, March 26 starting at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will also receive free toilet leak detecting tablets + prize drawings for tickets to local events.
