If your Mother’s Day plans could use a little more soul, here’s your move: A Mother’s Day Celebration with Patty Perrin & Friends is hitting the Reynolds Place Theatre inside the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts on Saturday, May 24, 4-7:30 p.m.
The state awarded $4.5 million to the UNC School of the Arts, which will go toward the purchase of the newly acquired building in downtown Winston-Salem. UNCSA leaders will comment on plans for the 411 W. Fourth St. building once state funding is finalized. (Winston-Salem Journal)
