Dogs + cats + chickens, oh my

This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for. After asking our readers to submit their paw-fect pet photos, we’ve put together our first roundup of Winston-Salem’s most well-loved residents.

We received nearly 70 photos of our neighborhood cats and dogs (and one chicken entry). Meet a few of the crew.

Boots | “Boots is a devoted double Goldendoodle with a heart of gold — working tirelessly as our son’s loyal autism service dog, he turns everyday moments into milestones!”

A grey-and-white cat is standing in a planter outdoors. Its face is turned back to stare at the camera.

Hobby | “I found Hobby in a box at Hobby Park when he was 8 weeks old. He has been glued to my side ever since!”
