A new bookstore is coming to downtown Kernersville. Main & Mountain Bookstore (103 N. Main St.) will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 29. Drop by between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to mingle, enjoy light bites and sips while you browse books and other local goods.
Active
Don’t wait for the New Year to make your resolution. Sign up for Hot Girl Hour at Washington Park CrossFit, which kicks off Tuesday, Jan. 6. Closing
Euphoria announced it will close its doors at the end of the year. The nightclub has been open for a little over two years, bringing nightlife entertainment to Trade Street. Owners say they plan to host a series of themed parties and karaoke nights before taking the last bow.
Legacy
Wake Forest Sports Hall of Famer Rodney Rogers died at the age of 54. Rogers earned numerous recognitions, including ACC Player of the Year and a First Team All-American during his athletic career. He led the Demon Deacons to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1984 and later went on to play in the NBA for more than a decade. (FOX8 WGHP)
