Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is raising its minimum hourly wage to $18.85, the highest among the Triad’s major hospital systems, according to the Winston-Salem Journal. The change goes into effect starting tomorrow, Jan. 30. (Winston-Salem Journal)

If you love to crunch numbers, keep reading. Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools is taking applications for its new Audit Advisory Committee. Applicants must live in the county and have at least five years of experience in finance and audits. The deadline to apply is Sunday, Feb. 15.

Call Winston-Salem State University a matchmaker if you will. The school is connecting students with scholarship opportunities through the WSSU Scholarship Universe, which includes more than 200 awards. Applications open Sunday, March 1, through Tuesday, March 31, and students may only submit one application.
