Weather

Watch out for possible snowflakes falling from the sky this weekend. Weather experts say cold air is moving into the Triad, which could increase the chance of snow on Sunday, Jan. 18. With temperatures remaining in the 30s, here are some indoor activities to try. (WFMY News 2)

Melrose Coffee on South Stratford Road is now under new ownership and will celebrate a new chapter tomorrow, Jan. 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The coffee shop will also start serving bubble tea, aka boba, with non-dairy ingredients. Grab a bite from Kuya Bear Food truck on site during the celebration.

The Goddard School of Winston-Salem is celebrating its ribbon cutting on Wednesday, Feb. 4, starting at 9 a.m., where you’ll get to meet the school owners and learn about the preschool and daycare curriculum. Watch out for other major developments to look forward to in 2026.
