That’s why we’re giving you the scoop on personal enrichment courses in the Twin City that’ll spark your creativity and keep your mind sharp.
The community arts and craft school has been offering classes to students of all ages since 1945. Studios are located downtown and at the Generations Center. Browse class offerings, which range from textiles to photography.
You can reserve the makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library or keep an eye out for classes.
There’s a lot more than books at these 10 branches. Budding entrepreneurs can get guidance on starting a small business + visitors can check out the 3D printer and other technology in the central library’s makerspace. Classes, events, and book clubs engage adults in everything from Tai Chi to writing + discussing short stories.
