ProKidney plans to manufacture its therapy for chronic kidney disease in Winston-Salem, according to Triad Business Journal. The regenerative medicine company that’s headquartered in the Twin City has listed its 210,000-sqft facility in Greensboro — where it previously planned to expand operations — for sale or lease.

Civic

Emergency preparedness officials want your input on how to address and manage potential risks from natural disasters. Take the survey to weigh in — responses will help develop the Northern Piedmont Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Development

City Council unanimously approved updating the program used to select affordable housing proposals. The new guidelines include requiring each multifamily project receiving city funding to meet a 30-year affordability requirement.
