Dear Winston-Salem,
From your historic charm, to your newfound industrial vibe you’re submerging into — you’ve got the best of both worlds. While my story may not have been love first sight, I’ve come to uncover your unique blend of southern hospitality and quite remarkable growth.
From day one, you’ve welcomed me with a warm embrace, giving me a place where I belong, a community with intrinsic beauty. For that, I relish of joy whether I’m walking through the arts district or respite in the calming atmosphere of the Quarry at Grant Park overlooking the city from a distance.
Your past is primitive, your present is enthralling and your future is euphoric. As you’re coming up to your glorious days, may you always remember who you are.
Happy Valentine’s Day, Winston-Salem.
