That’s the powerful title of an upcoming community conversation hosted by Greater Winston-Salem Inc., The Pre-K Priority, and Kaplan Early Learning Company.
“Early Childhood Education is Everybody’s Business” will be held on Thursday, March 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bridger Field House at Allegacy Stadium.
It is the third event in a series of ongoing community conversations in partnership with Leadership Winston-Salem and REACH Women’s Network, all about finding solutions to the childcare crisis in our community.
Crooked Tail Cafe will close its Winston-Salem location due to unexpected difficulties owners have encountered in 2025. Patrons have access to the cat lounge for free with a beverage purchase from 12 to 4 p.m. through Sunday, March 2.

Pickle this in your calendar. Take part of the Lucky Shot Pickleball Tournament Saturday, March 22-Sunday, March 23. Players will compete at Sedge Garden Pickleball Courts. Gender and mixed doubles will pay a $50 fee to register for the events both days.
