Get your basket ready for the annual Apple Festival at the Historic Bethabara Park on Saturday, Sept. 27. Not only will you get to shop from a wide variety of apples and apple-inspired creations, but this field day will be full of 18th-century crafts demonstrations, colonial games, face painting, and a tour of the historic park.

If you’re looking for wholesome family fun, look no further than a Dash game. The franchise is the High-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and has a reputation for fun food items and creative rebrandings. The team has had many names over the years, including the Warthogs, Twins, and Spirits.
🏒 Twin City Thunderbirds (FPHL) | Est. 2017
The minor professional hockey team comes from a long line of predecessors, most recently the Carolina Thunderbirds and Winston-Salem Polar Twins. The team recently underwent a name change while anticipating its upcoming season.
