Hear that? It’s the scintillating sound of Winston-Salem’s live music venues beckoning you to a performance you’ll never forget.

The concert scene is truly unmatched in our area. To get to know them all, you must do three things: put your hands in the air, wave ‘em like you don’t care, then lay your eyes (and ears) on our guide.

Arenas/Stadiums

Allegacy Stadium, 475 Deacon Blvd.
Big names like Billy Joel, Guns ‘n’ Roses, and Paul McCartney have wowed crowds at the home of Demon Deacons football. Keep an eye out for these trending events at the venue.

The cafe located in Old Salem’s T-Bagge Merchant building serves lunch + ice cream. It also welcomes performers of varying genres for afternoon and evening jam sessions.

Cause

🕯️ Beloved “Holiday Luminary Project” returns this month

Presented by Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Piedmont Triad

Way back in 1987, a small group of volunteers started the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Piedmont Triad Holiday Luminary Project.

Since then, it’s brightened into one of Winston-Salem’s most cherished holiday traditions, lighting up more than 7,000 households across the city and raising more than $2 million for essential House programs + services.

💝 ‘Tis the season to join

Locals are encouraged to take part in this growing cause starting Tuesday, Nov. 18, by picking up Luminary kits at any participating retailer.

Kits are $10 and include six bags, candles, and sand — all donated by WS businesses and assembled by volunteers.

100% of project proceeds benefit families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Piedmont Triad.

✨ Show your support

Finally, join the city-wide show of support by lighting your luminary on Christmas Eve, or any evening during the holiday season. The warm glow symbolizes love, hope, and connection for families facing medical crises.

Neighborhood “Street Captains” will also help organize and distribute kits throughout their neighborhoods, connecting and building seasonal spirit across the community.

A pool house, sports court, horse stables, and a private airstrip + hangar are a few amenities you’ll find at this grandiose property. (Triad Business Journal)
