Although voting in the 2026 primary elections is currently underway, the real race is here. The inaugural Pet Mayor contest of Forsyth Humane Society has launched. Through Saturday, March 21, you can vote for the pet mayor of the year.
Register your pet to enter the contest for a $25 registration fee by Saturday, Feb. 28. Each donation will advance a pet’s campaign, helping them climb the leaderboard.
Public voting starts Sunday, March 1. You can meet the candidates and watch the winner get elected in action at the election results party on Saturday, March 21, at Wise Man Brewing from 2-4 p.m.
