Hey there Winstonians. Kellina here. Last week, I presented you with a very important and very fun task: To choose your own adventure and design my day as a WStoday City Editor. With great power comes great responsibility. Here is what you voted for a perfect day in Winston-Salem.

Wake up and smell the — coffee. About 55% of you answered this option. At 9 a.m., I headed to Krankies and ordered a hot cappucino.

Then, head to work at — “somewhere outdoors (weather permitting)” got the most votes at 39%, and “a coffee shop” came in as a close second. Due to chiller temperatures in the morning, I opted to sit in an enclosed indoor space at Krankies where I could still enjoy the view — minus the cold.

Today I’m writing — “Fall date ideas” by far got the most vote at 58% which you can read about on WStoday’s website.

Tour “Smith & Libby: Two Rings, Seven Months, One Bullet” exhibit was a tie with “Take a stroll of the murals downtown, so I did you a favor and did both.

Then, I grabbed lunch at — West End Cafe, which got the most vote, standing at 39% from voters. It was my first time going the restaurant, and I had lunch with City Editor Cambridge. I was pleased with the atmosphere and the quick service. And oh — the pita chicken I ordered was delicious.

Finally, you chose that I sweat it out at — “a public park” with 50% of the votes, so I headed to Hanes Park for a quick workout to end the day.
