Watch romance, action, magic, and comedy on the big screen for free again this year. Innovation & Cinema returns to the lower lawn at Bailey Park in April.

The event is a partnership between Innovation Quarter and a/perturecinema that showcases a film on a Friday each month through October (except in July). Moviegoers can bring a chair or blanket and buy food from local vendors starting at 7 p.m. The following flicks will begin at sunset:

  • April 19: “The NeverEnding Story”
  • May 17: “Everything Everywhere All at Once”
  • June 21: “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”
  • Aug. 16: “Blade”
  • Sept. 20: “Barbie”
  • Oct. 18: “Hocus Pocus”

The event is sponsored, so you don’t have to purchase tickets or RSVP. Not all of the selections are family-friendly so you’ll want to check plots and ratings before showing up.
