Grant window for local Minority Business Enterprise Grant Program opens soon

In last year’s MBE Grant program cycle, the Entrepreneurial Advisory Committee distributed a total of $223,000 in funding to 21 locally-owned small businesses.

Calling all Black or Latinx small business owners: The Minority Business Enterprise Grant Program application window is nearly here — August 25 to September 25, to be exact.

Grants of up to $25,000 are available for eligible businesses focused on improving success, job retention + job creation.

To qualify, businesses must:

  • Be Black- or Latinx-owned
  • Be located in Forsyth County
  • Have been operational since January 1, 2023, with gross annual sales under $1 million
  • Have between one to 25 full-time employees
