Grant applications for art programs open in Winston-Salem

The goal is to boost arts and cultural initiatives in the Twin City.

Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County announced its grant offerings for Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) to continue to foster art programs in the Twin City.

Some grant opportunities, like the Artist Support Grant Program, will return. Three new grant opportunities will foster innovation and inclusivity:

  • General Operating Support Grants are designed for arts organizations to sustain their daily operations.
  • Multicultural Grassroots Arts Grants aim to promote cultural diversity for underrepresented populations.
  • Arts for EveryBody Community Project Grants will facilitate projects that make arts accessible to all, with an emphasis to those in underserved communities.

Applications for FY25 grants are open through Thursday, Oct. 31. Applicants can register to attend an Arts Council grants program information session virtually on Monday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m.
