It takes a community to build a village city. Throughout the month of October, you can share your thoughts on the city’s current strategic plan and give local leaders a blueprint for the next 24-48 months.

Winston-Salem residents can provide feedback about city services and community investments to address poverty and economic issues. You can also help design strategies to strengthen communities around the Twin City. Focus areas include topics like economic vitality, diversity, livable neighborhoods, quality transportation, and safer communities.

Community drop-in sessions run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mark these dates and locations on your calendar:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Sprague Street Community Center, 1350 E. Sprague St.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Carl Russell Community Center, 3521 Carver School Rd.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Polo Park Community Center, 1850 Polo Rd.

Elected city leaders will take this feedback to craft priorities. This process happens every four years.
