Winstonians keep getting better with age. Starting Monday, April 8, you can nominate an older adult for a 7 over Seventy award.

Senior Services, Inc. hosts the annual celebration. It honors local adults age 70 and older who make Forsyth County better in at least one of the following ways:

  • Trailblazing accomplishments
  • Making a difference in the lives of others
  • Inspirational leadership and impact
  • Acts of generosity
  • Mentorship, either professionally or in the community
  • Innovative contributions in business, community, or public policy

Does someone you know come to mind? Submit a nomination form online or in person at Senior Services (2895 Shorefair Dr. NW). Be as thorough as you can when listing accomplishments, including providing detail and context. (Watch this video for more pointers). Nominations will be accepted until 12 a.m. on Friday, May 10.

A selection committee will choose the 2024 honorees. They will receive their award during a luncheon in August.
