How your holiday cards can make a difference this year

Proceeds from Crisis Control Ministry’s holiday honor cards will help neighbors in need. The nonprofit will also address and mail the cards for you.

It’s not too late to write and mail your holiday cards — or, let Crisis Control Ministry do it for you. The nonprofit is offering holiday honor cards designed by local artists Barbara Campbell, Beth Jones, and William Mangum.

The cards cost a minimum $5 donation. All proceeds go toward Crisis Control Ministry’s mission of supporting neighbors who need food, medication, housing, and utility assistance. There are several ways to find the cards:

  • Order online to have the cards shipped or have them hand addressed, stamped, and mailed to locations of your choice.
  • Pick them up at the nonprofit’s locations in Winston-Salem (200 E. 10th St.) or in Kernersville (431 W. Bodenhamer St.).
  • Shop for them at local retailers (scroll down for the list).

Crisis Control Ministry will be closed Dec. 22 through Dec. 26. To have cards mailed + delivered before Christmas, orders must be placed on or before Monday, Dec. 18.
