Sign up to learn a new craft at Sawtooth this summer

It’s like summer camp, but for adults.

Beat the heat this summer at Sawtooth School for Visual Art. Registration for adult summer classes and workshops will open on Tuesday, May 14 at 9 a.m.

The community art and craft school has expanded its ceramics and mixed media offerings. Studios are located on North Spruce Street downtown and within the Generations Center (114 W. 30th St.). You can find classes dedicated to:

  • Ceramics
  • Drawing
  • Digital arts
  • Glass
  • Metals
  • Painting
  • Photography
  • Printmaking
  • Textiles
  • Woodworking

The workshops will begin in July and last through September. Single classes, weekly courses, and those held over single weekends will all be available.

You can browse classes online starting Wednesday, May 8. The code “summer2024" will get you a 5% discount, but it’s only active May 14 through May 17.
