A holiday favorite will return to tables in Winston-Salem this season. Ronnie’s Country Store Pop-Up will sell hams, local yams, and collard greens — and country ham biscuits with coffee for $1. The pop-up will be open Saturdays + Sundays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Roar on North Liberty Street.

The meat is from the Frank C. Corriher family — a wholesaler in Rowan County. Ronnie’s Country Store, the local grocery store that closed its doors nearly two years ago, sold the same brand to local shoppers. The ham is aged after being hand-rubbed with salt and brown + cane sugars. It will be sold by the pound:

  • Whole ham — $7.99 per pound
  • Sliced ham — $8.99 per pound

You can also pre-order hams for pickup. There is a $30 deposit for orders placed online or by phone.
