“Hot Ones” brings the heat to Winston-Salem

Timmy’s Hot Chicken and Small Batch Beer Co. are giving locals the opportunity to try six sauces made famous by Sean Evans’ interview show.

A black cardboard box is open to reveal a yellow interior with several hot wings inside. The inside of the box reads "Take the hot seat." To the side, a small container of hot sauce and an information sheet about the sauces sit on the table.

Now, you can watch your favorite celebrity take the “Hot Ones” challenge while you do the same.

The show with “hot questions and even hotter wings” is bringing its flavor to Winston-Salem, making it the only city in North Carolina to get a taste of the heat.

Now and “at least for the next year,” Timmy’s Hot Chicken and Small Batch Beer Co. will be serving up spicy wings, sandwiches, and the sauces made famous by Sean Evans’ interview show “Hot Ones.”

Take a peek at the sauce lineup:

  • The Classic Chili Maple | Mild, balance of sweet and heat
  • Original Buffalo | Mild, rich, tangy
  • Los Calientes Rojo | Medium, spicy, tropical
  • Los Calientes Verde | Medium, Baja-inspired
  • Los Calientes Barbacoa | Medium, smokey
  • The Last Dab Apollo Hot Sauce | Hot — it’s tradition to add an extra “dab” of this sauce to the last wing in your challenge.

Pro Tip: Order the Challenge Box to experience all six official “Hot Ones” sauces alongside 12 wings of your choice.
