The Winston-Salem Dash wore many hats this season — literally. Playing as the Tobacco Beetles + the Italian Beef, but one rebrand left quite the hen-pression.

Major League Baseball has nominated The Winston-Salem Hype Hens for the best MiLB Alternate Identity of 2024 — but don’t count your chickens before they hatch.

The Hype Hens need fans to vote now through Sept. 23.

Winners will be announced on Monday, Sept. 30, during the MiLB Awards Show on MLB Network. Best of cluck.
