Prepare your engine for one of the hottest weekends of the year. The NASCAR Cup Series is returning to “The Madhouse” for the first time since 1971. Get ready for the electric action Saturday, Feb.1 through Sunday, Feb. 2 at Bowman Gray Stadium. Between a sold-out show, and an anticipated attendance of 15,000 attendees from across the nation and overseas — we’ve got all you need to know before you go.

Tickets

Snag your ticket and get access to Saturday’s Madhouse Classic event. The 1937 Club Premium Experience tickets are available for purchase which gives fans weekend admission, parking with shuttle access, and a VIP experience. (Note: Sunday’s event tickets are sold out.)

Parking

Avoid traffic and the hassle of parking onsite by reserving your parking space at Innovation Quarter or Allegacy Stadium are within 5-10 minutes away from Bowman Gray Stadium. A free shuttle will drive you to the site. Parking passes cost $42+ per day.

What to do when you get there

Saturday, Feb. 1: Gates open at 10 a.m. Watch live interviews with current NASCAR Cup Series drivers including Bubba Wallace, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Alex Bowman.

Sunday, Feb. 2: Gates open at 4 p.m. The action begins at 8 p.m. when 23 drivers will compete for 200 laps on the track.

What to bring

A maximum of two bags per person are allowed through admission gates, but be sure to check the full list of what to — and not to — bring before heading to the race track (scroll to the bottom).

Pro tip: bring nose-canceling ear plugs to protect your hearing from loud racetrack noise.
