It’s almost back-to-school. United Way of Forsyth County’s African American Leadership Society is hosting a Back-to-School Supplies Drive to support more than 100 local families, and here’s how you can help.

Donations needed:

  • New backpacks
  • Pencils, pens + crayons
  • Color Markers
  • Notebook filler paper
  • Composition books
  • Three-ring binders
  • Spiral notebooks
  • Personal-sized hand sanitizer

You can drop off donations at United Way of Forsyth County (301 N. Main St., Suite 1700) by Tuesday, July 29 or donate a gift online (type in “Back to School” under “Designation”).

School supplies will also be collected on Saturday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church near New Walkertown Road. The school supplies giveaway will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
